Dark and Dusky

Hi Readers,
I recently read about the campaign of unfair and lovely.  Honestly magnificent  idea , its high time especially Indians  learn that  beauty is skin deep. You cant be beautiful just because you are fair. I  am Wheatish  and  since childhood i was told not to drink tea  as i am dark, i used to apply fairness creams , lots of pack and as my sister was  a fair the complexities grew more each time and  the end result i am some one who started believing i am not beautiful.   But as i grew  old  and wiser i realized, i am a  bit dark but not ugly  and being fair does not make you  beautiful.

I remember  an incident where  some one told a mother in law  ghar mein lakshmi aayi hai (meaning a daughter in law gets good luck of money when she comes to the house) , and the  mother in law retaliated  and said  Goddess Kali as  the daughter in law was  on the darker  side. I  actually thought of  telling her  dont instigate the wrath/anger of  Goddess kali by criticizing her

Being dark is not a sin but people are being punished for being dark. Even  in the famous novel mills and boons the hero was  characterized as tall, dark and handsome. Yet people want to be fair.

Well  our  society has always been biased and hope it  takes some heed and start looking at person abilities and feature rather then just defining some one by color.

Change Your Perception

Hello  Readers,                         Well in most of the  house  hold these days we  have  conflicts to the extent that the  family  or  friends  go  days  without talking to each other or even worst don't even  want to see each other.  So what causes such  conflicts ???  when  contemplated, its  basically the perception or view about something. The problem is we all are different people  and  we all have different view about the same subject. A  husband  may feel he has worked enough hard all day in the office and  so need to relax at home. Wife on the other hand  does all household chores and expect husband  to take her out. Both are correct in  their respective places but still there are arguments because of perception.Husband think that wife does easy job and  vice versa. A  gi...

Courses at XXXXPET

Hi  Readers,                      So my post is about my personal experience and hope that everyone like it. I  am not good at programming even though, I am a software engineer and so  I  decided to join this course on my hubby's suggestion to improve on my skill set. As most of the Hyderabadi may be aware of this hub of software courses at xxxxpet. Most of the courses at this place cost you a fortune and you spend or rather waste your time learning something much different than your expectation.                                            The classes at this  xxxxpet will be good for the demo class and thereafter another  few days and then the normal track turn into the fast track as the faculty has to start a finish the current batch in order  to start  a new batch( to mint ...

Most of us fantasize to be successful but are not ready to pay the price to achieve their dreams. I believe that if you really want something you will give in your 100% and nothing less. There is a price of success, you need to work very hard in order to get good grades in school, promotion at work, the price can be anything from giving up on your personal life, missing birthdays of your loved ones and festivals or cricket match, movies ....etc. Everyone dreams of success but ...
